1. Your Submission
By submitting a Builder Story, you confirm that you own or have permission to use the photo, name, quote, trade, location, and other submitted material and that publication does not violate jobsite rules, confidentiality obligations, or another person’s rights.
2. Permission to Display
You grant BCB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, crop, format, publish, display, and promote the submitted content in connection with BCB websites, applications, social channels, presentations, and marketing. This permission continues until removal is completed, subject to reasonable archival and backup periods.
3. Editing and Review
BCB may make light edits for spelling, grammar, length, formatting, safety, and brand consistency without materially changing the meaning. We may reject or remove a submission at any time.
4. People in Photos
If other identifiable people appear, you confirm that you have permission appropriate for the intended public use. Do not submit minors without verifiable parent or legal-guardian authorization.
5. Jobsite and Employer Permission
You are responsible for complying with employer, customer, union, government, military, and jobsite photography or social-media rules. Do not submit classified, export-controlled, confidential, proprietary, security-sensitive, or restricted material.
6. Removal Requests
You may request removal through the Contact Center. We will remove approved public content within a reasonable time, though cached, archived, or previously shared copies may remain outside our control.
7. No Compensation
Unless separately agreed in writing, submissions are voluntary and unpaid.
